An artist's conception of 10 M W shallow solar pond plant as it would appear in a southwestern desert location. The plan consists of 1,600 flowing pond modules, each 12' wide by 600' long, covering a total area of about three-fourths of a square mile. The turbogenerator building and cooling towers are seen on the left.
