Eli Rosenberg working with equipment

Eli I. Rosenberg (Ph.D. UIUC '71) joined the Iowa staff in 1979 after nearly eight years at the University of Chicago. Rosenberg says, 'My research concentrates on exploring the details of the quark-parton structure of the hadrons. Recently, we have succeeded in measuring the quark distribution inside the charged hadrons by using a virtual photon probe which is observed experimentally as a charged lepton pair.', Credit Line: Iowa State University, Department of Physics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, courtesy of AIP Emilio Segrè Visual Archives
