Claude Nicollier, Ulf Merbold, Wobbo Ockels and Franco Malerba candidates for flight on first Spacelab mission

The European Space Agency has selected four European candidates, one of whom will finally be chosen to fly as payload (experiment) specialist on the first Spacelab mission in 1980 together with one American payload specialist. The four candidates chosen from 53 from 12 European countries preselected last September, were presented at a press conference in Paris.
