Finnemore Works in Superconductivity

Douglas Finnemore, (Ph.D. UIUC '62) now a professor at Iowa State University, is working basically in superconductivity. Typical problems he says he encounters include studies of the superconducting wave function near a superconductor-normal boundary, studies of the motion of quantized vortices in superconductors, and the preparation of new composite materials., Credit Line: Iowa State University, Department of Physics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, courtesy AIP Emilio Segrè Visual Archives
