Abstract/Description:	Hewlett works with vacuum systems for evaporation of magnesium fluoride layers on glass for producing nonlight reflecting surfaces. Also for the evaporation of various metals and chemicals in the study for the improvement of selenium and copper oxide rectifiers. On the extreme right an oven surrounding a vacuum system for the study of the temperature effect on films deposited on glass surfaces under vacuum.
